Acquisition of Clarendon Square Shopping Centre, Hyde (160,000 sq ft) with major tenants including Argos, Body Care, Superdrug and B&M Bargains, and Fleet Walk Shopping Centre, Torquay (170,000 sq ft and 350 space car park) where the major tenants included  Superdrug, New Look, WHSmith and TK MAXX.

Senior debt was provided by Morgan Stanley and co-equity investors were Anglo Irish Private Equity and Ashdown Capital.

Acquisition of The Strand Shopping Centre, Isle of Man (60,000 sq ft) with major tenants including Mothercare, Peacocks, HMV and Birthdays.

Senior debt funded by Anglo Irish Bank and co-equity investment from a private overseas source.

Acquisition of The Arndale Centre, Accrington (163,000 sq ft with a 300 space car park) where tenants included Iceland, Marks and Spencer, Superdrug and New Look.

Sale of The Strand Shopping Centre, Isle of Man to overseas investor following letting of empty units and completion of rent reviews.

Parkwood’s co-investor achieved an IRR of over 60% p.a.

Sale of The Gates Shopping Centre, Bolton to Hermes following completion of lettings and refurbishment.

Mezzanine IRR returns were over 50%.

Acquisition of (170,000 sq ft and 250 space surface car park).

Debt provided by Anglo Irish Bank and mezzanine finance from Investec Bank.

Sale of three shopping centres at Hyde, Torquay and Accrington for £91m following completion of lettings, settlement of outstanding reviews and refurbishment of a major car park.

IRR returns to mezzanine providers  were in excess of 50% with an annualised rate in excess of 80% to equity participants.

JULY 2004

Acquisition of empty retail and leisure unit in West Bromwich (20,000 sq ft).

NOVEMBER 2004

Acquistion of Aberafan Shopping Centre in Port Talbot (260,000 sq ft and 250 space multi-storey car park with adjacent 6 floor office tower).

Debt provided by Investec who also co-invested in the equity.

JANUARY 2006

Sale at over £3m of fully let retail unit at West Bromwich following refurbishment and letting, providing a return on equity in excess of 75%.

JANUARY 2006

Sale of The Cherry Tree Shopping Centre, Wallasey for £28m.

IRR returns to co-investors  were in excess of 50%.

JUNE 2006

Acquisition of a 9500 sq m  retail warehouse in Cologne, Germany for €9m.

NOVEMBER 2006

Acquisition of 29.9% of ordinary shares in Gresham House Plc, a publicly quoted investment trust.
